Feng Shui with Karen Rauch Carter

I got the pleasure of speaking to Karen Rauch Carter, a Feng Shui master, with a best seller book called "Move Your Stuff, Change Your Life." I actually read her book many years ago, as I thought it was so interesting, the whole concept of Feng Shui. It's a great way to manifest your desires and change your life.

Feng Shui is basically arranging your stuff in your living space in certain ways to gain positive results. Your home is basically divided into nine categories, or life situations. You have prosperity, fame, relationships/love, family, health, skills, career and helpful people/travel.

I was following her guidance and cures and made changes to my living space, which was a small one bedroom condo. As I started moving things around, suddenly my whole life started to change in many positive ways. Your surroundings have such an effect on your life, as everything is energy.

Years later, I moved into a bigger space, a two bedroom condo with a totally different layout. So things in this condo were different. I reached out to Karen to look at the layout of my place, and see how I'm feeling. The energy of your environment has an effect on your life, your career, love life, family health etc.

I am currently making changes to my home in certain areas to feel more grounded, stable and secure in life. Adding the earth element, such as plants, water, mirrors, rocks, mountains, flesh colors, soft edges and feet touching the earth are all suggestions to add to your home.

The door to your home is the pathway into your life, it's the way opportunities come to you. Having a clean door and clutter free entrance is a way to gain more positive opportunities in all areas of your life. That's the starting point.
