A Yogic Perspective for the Aquarian Age

You have come a long way baby, but still a long way to go in many places in the world!

I am talking about the current news about the Taliban that states Men are fundamental and women are secondary according to the translation by Afghan analyst Ahmad. Afghanistan's new guidelines; women are subordinate to men, should not mix in work or education and must always have a male guardian when they travel.

Just a few decades ago in North America, women were not even allowed to vote, take a loan, or rent an apartment without a man.

In India still today, women as early as 5 years old, if their arranged marriage future husbands dies, these girls are now abolished to a home for windows (some of you have seen the movie 'Water'.) Upon the death of their husband, women were also burned alive along with their dead husband. The past year, we heard of a friend who went to India and saw a posting at a hospital that read pay now or pay later. That meant that you can pay to abort a baby girl now or pay for her dowry later.

In Medieval Times, if women made potions of herbal medicine, they could be tortured and burned to the stake if anyone claimed they were a witch!

I have seen women in shelters who have married and immigrated to Canada with their Canadian husbands. Once arrived in Canada, their husbands have taken the marriage dowry money and dropped off their new wife at a shelter. These women are left alone with no money, family, in an unfamiliar country and language. Many abused women go back to their abuser because of family rejection, and poverty. Many feel that at least there is a father for their children or that they don't deserve to be loved.

Yes, my Goddess Sisters, the reality is that it is truly a Man's World all over the world weather we like it or not!

That is what attracted me to Kundalini Yoga, Yogi Bhajan and www.3ho.org (happy, healthy, holy association). They teach, uplift, celebrate and respect 'the primal female energy'. It makes me feel beautiful, blissful, and bountiful, giving me back the grace and power that belongs to all women. Is' that what Mother Earth is all about?

We are leaving the Piscean Age that lasted a few hundred years and officially entering the Aquarian Age on December 21, 2012. The Piscean age was the Industrial age, and it was the worst time in history that women were treated with terrible cruelty. The Piscean Age was a time that people could get away with behaviors such as embezzling, dumping pollutants, violence to women, an so on... Today every person is under audit and is tracked with a trail because of advanced technology methods. There will be no where to turn and all abusive actions will be exposed.

In Aquarian Age there are no secrets! All information can be found. The Age Motto is: be to be. Let your actions demonstrate wisdom. You can show your wholeness, connect with a larger creative existence, express it and show it with a committed action. Truth embodied in practical actions will show the profile of a fulfilled human being.

Thank goodness, the Aquarian Age is when women will start to have their power back. We are starting to see it happening in North America and many parts of the world. Women are taking their life back and coming into power in governments, society and industry.

Yogi Bhajan taught; Without the grace and respect of a Woman, there will never be peace in the world.

Woman are the creators of all life (babies) whether she has babies or not. She is the first teacher to babies. She turns blood into milk from her bosom. She is the glue that holds together family and society. This is her strength and what she was born to accomplish.

She is the wings for a man to thrive and grow to do great things. Remember the saying behind every successful man is a great woman. For a man to uplift a woman = that is the secret for success and happiness for himself, family and society!

That is if the woman can grow and use her strengths to her advantage and the good of mankind. That is the problem with women today:

  1. Women do not know their powers and how to self heal their bodies and emotions.
  2. Whether that they have not been taught, have been suppressed, depressed, abused, or simply unaware, this is the great loss...
  3. Their Goddess has been lost and they do not know how to find it.

Humor - is the sharpest weapon of self-defense for a Woman

A woman should be intelligent at humor. It is her sharpest weapon of self-defense. It is very creative of her values, it helps her to be successful and face every facet of life, and yet live the life of reality, of a graceful, religious, relaxed and happy woman. Humor is a positive direction of joy and excludes sarcasm. Woman should use positive god-like language, filled with moral ethics and ultimate reality. She must use positive humor and know the art of graceful silence. Graceful silence is the greatest art of a woman, humor is he greatest beauty and weapon, and graceful language is her introduction. Humor is the spice of life. You must be very humorous as a woman. When your inner conflict is small, and when you are the same inside and outside, you will be naturally very humorous. You can always judge a person by the nature of their humor.
