My Trip to China
Here is a video of my trip to China in 2004. I visited the Forbidden City, Beijing Palace Museum, Imperial Palace, Great Wall of China, Terracotta Warriors in Xian and then lived in Shanghai for a year teaching English. I had quite an adventure.
The Forbidden City, Imperial Palace is the largest Ancient Palace in the world. It's construction began in 1406 and was completed in 14 years. It has a history of 580 years. It's been rebuilt many times, but maintained it's original structure.
The Great Wall of China stretches approximately 5,500 miles from east to west China. It was constructed in 1368-1644 in the Ming Dynasty. It is one of the most appealing attractions in the world.
The Terracotta Warriors is the most significant archeological excavations on the 20th century. It took 11 years to finish. It was authorized to become a museum in 1974.
