Yin Yoga involves holding the postures for a longer time, which allows you to create stronger muscles, endurance and flexibility at a deeper level. It's all about the connective tissues, the fibrous tissues that form your joints and ligaments. In yin yoga, you get to reach and stimulate these tissues deep within your body.
