5 Reasons To Keep Your New Years Resolution for Health

As 2011 is now here, we hope you had a wonderful holiday and hopefully some time off to refresh and relax. Now that the holiday season has come to a close, you may be feeling the effects of some recent indulgences, but don't worry -- you're not alone! Almost all of my clients coming in through December cited the need to clean out the holiday party indulgences.
This time of year, the New Year's Resolution on most people's minds and lips is to get healthy, get in shape or shed a few holiday pounds, especially after having eaten a bit too much and having indulged in a few too many desserts or drinks. The brand new year brings us a host of new opportunities, challenges and possibilities so why not make a clean sweep and get a boost of energy to kick start the new year?
Colon cleansing is the best way to relieve your body of the excesses, improve your bowel regularity, decrease bloating, increase your energy and kick start your weight loss. We have put together a few compelling reasons to start 2011 off with a cleanse and achieve your New Year's goals. If you combine the suggestions below with a comprehensive (3-4 colonic sessions) internal cleanse, you will see the results before you know it.
De-Puff and De-Bloat
After a few too many drinks and salty snacks, and sugary carbs your body is likely holding on to a few pounds of excess fluid. Some of our favourite electrolyte sources are Vega Sport or Emergen-C, mixed with water. Make sure you get 2 L of water daily. People often forget to drink water in the winter, thinking they don't sweat as much; not true. We need water and lots of it 12 months of the year. Keep hydrated and help prevent headaches, joint pain and heartburn.
Kick Start a Healthy Eating Regimen
There's no better way get back on track than avoid eating the way you had been for a few days. Flat-out swap your usual diet for fruits and veggies and clean out your system so you can make the transition to move on to a healthier eating plan. Keep up with the fruits and veggies long term and you can avoid crash diets for spring and summer. You will look and feel fantastic year round.
Lose a Little Weight
Colon hydrotherapy allows you to loosed up fecal matter that could be impacting your colon, preventing you from losing weight. It is possible to lose 2-4 lbs. in each session. When you combine colonics with a healthy diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins; you will see your body, mind and attitude literally re-shape before your eyes.
