Kundalini Yoga focuses on waking up the chakras with life force. It is done with physical and meditation techniques, using senses within the body to create communication between the body and mind. Kundulini Yoga focuses on spiritual growth and reaching your true potential. It uses the spine and endocrine system to awaken the chakras and become enlightened.
Life force (energy) stays dormant within the chakras of the body. It is coiled up along the spine. Tantric philosophers believe that there is enormous energy that's trapped into sexual desire. It is released from the lower part of the spine and can flow up to the brain to bring pure illumination and bliss. This Kundalini energy is powerful and flows through the interior spine.
