The humorous yoga shirt was conceived after I began do some rudimentary exercises with my wife, who is a yoga fan and has done yoga for a number of years. Although I am able to do most of the basic positions, I am not as "bendy" as I might like to be. So the lotus position won't work for me. In fact, a few years ago, when my wife and I took meditation classes at a beautiful Buddhist temple, I spent much of the time devoted to meditating agonizing over my knees. I asked the monk, a very sweet guy, if I could sit on a chair, or would I be a meditation wimp. He offered me a chair. My wife is equally patient and has me doing those execises I am able to do, with more in mind as I become more limber...

Meditation and music cannot be separated. When we cry from the inmost recesses of our heart for peace, light and bliss, that is the best type of meditation. Next to meditation is music, soulful music, the music that stirs and elevates our aspiring consciousness. We cannot meditate twenty-four hours a day, but we can meditate, perhaps, for two hours a day. At other times we can play music or listen to music. When we play or hear soulful music, psychic music, immediately we are transported to a higher realm of consciousness. When we play music soulfully, we go high, higher, highest.
